Ever wanted to spend your time watching wriggly worms lay eggs on the internet in order to further the cause of SCIENCE? Of course you have! Check out zooniverse's citizen science worms project here www.zooniverse.org/project/wormsIt's going to involve an ick factor of over 9000!!!1!!!!!1!! As you can imagine given my squeamishness I'm not actually going to take part in this one. I'm going to stick to their sea floor survey www.zooniverse.org/project/seafloorexplorer in the hopes of spotting a Megalodon.

Whoa, that worm thing was weird! Not really sure what I was doing! I'll give the sea floor one a try at some point.

The serengeti ones they do are quite a fun way to pass a half hour if you're bored. Its mostly just pictures of antelope's knees and tails but you get some really interesting stuff occasionally - I once got a series which seemed to show a lion hunt, chase and kill.
